Make your nomination today for the Pittsfield Community Impact Awards 2014! Community Impact Awards recognize individuals, groups and organizations who have made positive impacts in Pittsfield in 2014.
Accepting nominations from now until November 20th. Deadline is extended! Last day to make your nominations is Sunday November 23rd.

Student-Centered Learning 101 on October 9th

Join us for an evening to learn about Student-Centered Learning and how it has positively impacted the Pittsfield School and Community.
Thursday October 9th
5:45-8 pm at the PMHS Cafeteria
We will begin the evening with a light dinner and open reception to explore items highlighting Student-Centered Learning at PMHS. Then we will hear from the panel of students, teachers and staff from PMHS with time for Q & A and small group discussions. Hosted by Pittsfield Listens and the Pittsfield, NH School District.
Y.O.A.C. Celebrates One Year!

Congratulations to the members of the Youth Organizing & Action Committee on a successful first year! The Y.O.A.C. was founded by students in August 2013 with a goal to have a youth driven group that empowers student voice and leadership to bring about positive social change in the community. What would it look like to have accessible and effective communication in Pittsfield, including between community and the schools?
Over the course of three months in the summer of 2013, a group of ten community members worked together to conduct community-based research on the issue of communication and information sharing in Pittsfield.
